Services

Six pieces of work, each with a defined end.

Take one or take several. Every engagement is quoted to a written scope, and each one finishes with something your business owns.

Operations review

We follow one job from first enquiry to paid invoice and write down every step, handover and delay along the way — then show you which of them are costing you the most.

  • Process map of the current way of working
  • Shortlist of changes in priority order
  • Estimated effort for each change

Business systems and workflow

Configuring the everyday tools — job management, quoting, invoicing, shared drives, calendars and forms — so a detail is entered once and carries through to the end.

  • Setup and tidy-up of existing accounts
  • Templates for quotes, jobs and invoices
  • Staff walkthrough on the finished setup

Back-office and administration

Ongoing support for the work that piles up behind the trade, arranged month to month so it scales with your season rather than sitting on the payroll all year.

  • Enquiry and inbox handling
  • Scheduling and job paperwork
  • Filing, records and data entry

Reporting and performance tracking

A short monthly view of the handful of measures that actually move the business, pulled from the systems you already use so nobody has to rebuild a spreadsheet.

  • Agreed measures, defined in writing
  • One-page monthly report
  • Review conversation on what it shows

Supplier and procurement coordination

Bringing order to the buying side: who you order from, on what terms, at what price, and whether the invoice that arrived matches what was agreed.

  • Supplier and pricing register
  • Purchase order and approval steps
  • Invoice-to-order checking routine

Records, documentation and compliance support

Getting your operational records into one findable structure and writing the procedures behind them, so audits, insurance renewals and client requests stop being a scramble.

  • File structure and naming conventions
  • Written procedures and checklists
  • Retention and archive routine

Engagement stages

What a piece of work looks like

The same four stages apply whether you engage us for a single review or an ongoing arrangement.

  1. 01

    Scope call

Free, around thirty minutes, and enough for both of us to decide whether to go further.

  2. 02

    Written proposal

Scope, deliverables, price and timeframe on one page. Nothing begins until you accept it.

  3. 03

    The work

Done alongside your team, with a short progress note at each agreed checkpoint.

  4. 04

    Handover and review

Documentation, a walkthrough with the staff who will use it, and a date to check it held.

Where we stop

Some work needs a licensed professional, and we will say so at the scope call rather than attempt it.

  • Tax advice, audits and BAS lodgement
  • Legal advice or contract drafting
  • Financial product or investment advice
  • Employment law and industrial relations

Not sure which one you need?

Most owners start with an operations review, because it tells you which of the others is worth paying for.
